Our COVID19 Procedures
Clients who are sick or have any flu-like symptoms or a fever, or have been exposed to COVID-19 are asked to stay home and to reschedule or use our tele-mental health service. Late cancelations due to illness or virus-related concerns will not be charged a fee. We will mutually assume an intent to do no harm to each other, that we have been fully informed of the risks associated with potential exposure to COVID-19 and other viruses and that we give consent without liability to participate in counseling services.
We will continue to monitor the news, recommendations from the CDC and state and local governments for any changes during this pandemic and will make any necessary adjustments for the safety and well-being of our clients and staff, including closing or returning to tele-mental health services.
If you have tested positive for the coronavirus, I may be required to notify local health authorities that you have been in the office. If I have to report this, I will only provide the minimum information necessary for their data collection and will not go into any details about the reason(s) for our visits.
